However, because you are ascending higher and there is less oxygen in the air, you might experience some weariness but it won’t be fatal as you have acclimatized the previous day in Manang. Once you pass a little river on a wooden bridge, you climb the breathtaking valley to Yak Kharka, an open, serene meadow.

Day 9: Trek to Thorong Pedi

Since Thorong La Pass is the highest point on the route and one of the world’s highest passes, it is also one of the most difficult portions of the journey. After around four hours of continuous ascending, the incline lessens and we arrive at the pass’s prayer flags and chorten. Next, you descend to Muktinath, a Buddhist and Hindu holy site.

Day 11: Drive from muktinath

You will descend along meadows, streams, and trees on a track that is a part of the Jomsom trek from Muktinath till you reach Kagbeni. You will travel to Jomson in the Kali Gandaki Valley from Kagbeni. Next, you will take a local bus to Tatopani to finish your adventure.

The road winds through some of the world’s deepest canyons, so the driving will be challenging. As you make your journey you will be able to indulge in broad vistas of the beautiful snow-capped Himalayas like Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and many more. From here, we cross a river and eventually arrive at Tatopani, a town known for its hot springs where you might unwind by submerging in the hot springs

Day 12: Trek to Ghorepani

You will finally depart from the hot springs, cross the Kali Gandaki River to the east, and climb Ghorepani. After there, the trail starts to climb rapidly for at least an hour, passing past several village homes.
